Guided tours of the factory:
Discover the world of Faïencerie de Gien and explore each stage of our pieces' manufacturing. These visits are a privileged opportunity to meet the artisans who perpetuate the savoir-faire of the Faïencerie. You will have the opportunity to visit the production factory as well as the museum.

In April: April 8, 15, 21, and 28 at 9:30 am
In May: May 6 at 2 pm and May 13 and 28 at 9:30 am.
In June: June 3, 10, 17, and 24 at 9:30 am

Throughout April: discover the museum with your family!
During the school holidays, the museum offers a program of fun and creative activities for the whole family. Children and adults alike can discover the collections in a new way, through games and workshops adapted for all.
Egg hunt throughout April
A game trail is provided at the reception desk to explore the museum while having fun during the visit.

Enamel painting workshop
Learn about enamel decoration in a creative workshop.

May 13: Lecture on slips
The Faïencerie de Gien Museum is partnering with the Faïencerie Laboratory to offer you a fascinating conference on the theme of colors, with a particular focus on engobes. On this occasion, Jean-Yves Regnery, head of the laboratory, will guide us through the world of slips, colored backgrounds, and painting on earthenware bisque, offering a true immersion in the art of the Faïencerie's decoration, with the expertise of a professional!
The conference will be preceded by a guided tour of the museum's collections, providing an introduction and context to the themes discussed.
Date: The guided tour will begin at 2 PM, followed by the conference at 3 PM.
Location: Gien Earthenware Museum, 78 Place de la Victoire in Gien
Price: €15 (including the one-hour guided tour starting at 2 PM).
Saturday, June 20: open ceramic painting workshops
Do you want to personalize a unique piece? Join our "open workshops" day, where you will have the opportunity to decorate your own object. A selection of shapes will be made available to you, as well as all the necessary materials to express your creativity.
Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Location: Musée de la Faïencerie de Gien, 78 place de la Victoire in Gien
Price: Museum entrance fee + price according to the chosen piece.
