Grands oiseaux

Since 1870, Félix Bracquemond's birds have been parading across the centre of plates. The farmyard cockerel, woodcock, pelican, crane, duck and others were drawn from Japanese prints. Bracquemond is considered to be the first artist in France to take an interest in Japanese art.
