Faïencerie de Gien has managed to preserve a human dimension and a traditional manufacturing process. All the employees are involved on a daily basis in supporting the development of the Faïencerie while maintaining its authenticity and the quality of its products.

Faïencerie de Gien is also equipped with a large industrial tool. Its teams have mastered technical industrial skills and are multi-skilled, which allows them to take turns on different jobs within the same workshop.
It is a daily challenge to match know-how and production. Our traditional manufacturing methods have to keep pace with industrial efficiency driven by the success and development of our brand. Looking to the future, our teams are reinventing the earthenware of tomorrow rooted in the bedrock of its two hundred year old history.
Research and development are part of the life of the factory: in the modelling department, in the laboratory and in the quality department, the teams are constantly looking for new techniques and improvements to products and processes.
Our values can be summed up in three key words: warm, authentic, creative. They apply to our products as well as to our daily work.
WARM
"Warm" refers to the kindness and humanity present in the relationships between employees. One plate passes through the hands of 30 craftsmen, so they are all part of the same production chain and work together towards a common goal.
AUTHENTIC
"Authentic", because a large part of the crafts within the faience factory are manual, linked to bicentenary know-how and to faience, a living material that requires accuracy, sincerity and care. The working environment is also authentic, since the factory has been located in the same building steeped in history for over two hundred years.
CREATIVE
"Creative" reminds us that we work to create beauty. Each employee contributes to this, with his or her own skills, with his or her way of telling the story of the decorations, of presenting them in the shops... Each person makes their contribution in the creative process and is attentive to the details that make the quality of our earthenware and that position Faïencerie de Gien as a luxury brand.
