Jardin de Kyoto

Jardin de Kyoto

This collection presents a colourful, bold and dense background, entailing considerable groundwork, in search for colour, fine detail and the utmost dexterity on the part of our painters. The graphic universe we’ve created features a palette of rich, contemporary colours: shades of blue, from the deepest to the brightest, with bright orange tones, touches of soft pink... These are exceptional pieces, the fruit of over 200 years of know-how and expertise.
Entirely hand-painted, the Musée Vase and the Square plate feature motifs inspired by Asian ceramics, which was very much in vogue in the 19th century. They feature cherry branches and their multitude of flowers. A few butterflies and bees enliven the scene.

The Musée Vase and the Square plate Jardin de Kyoto echo the large Vase Jardin de Kyoto. This large vase, presented to mark the faience factory’s bicentenary in 2021, is a revisited version of a vintage piece dating from the 19th century. These magnificent objects are the result of an admirable process of reinterpretation and adaptation by the factory’s artists and craftsmen.
